A Closer Look: 2016 and the Future for Modix


We’re just a few days into the new year, and for us at Modix, it’s an ideal opportunity to look back on the 366 exciting days of 2016. It’s been a year full of development and change, and that also makes now the perfect time to brave a glimpse into the future.

A new look for Modix
The first quarter of 2016 started with a number of positive changes, some more visible than others. The most obvious change was our corporate identity makeover at the beginning of the year, which saw a new logo, fresh designs for our adverts, brochures and external representation, as well as the launch of our brand new website. At modix.co.uk, we now showcase all our products, solutions and services, and highlight how the members of the Modix team are the key to our success.

Strong partners, strong positioning
To coincide with the release of our new German website, we also launched our new international website in English at modix.eu and UK website here at modix.co.uk. This came as a result of the expansion of our international business at the start of 2016, when we became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the US-based Cox Automotive. As the digital arm of one of the world’s largest automotive corporations, we are now able to offer our customers even more extensive solutions from a single source. With the launch of Modix China and Modix UK later on in the year, the company reached two more milestones: entering two exciting markets with a great deal of potential.

On track across Europe
When it came to customer relationships, there were plenty of shared success stories, including the launch of Volvo used car locators for the Czech Republic, Belgium and Spain; the Volvo vehicle portal in Japan; the BMW vehicle portal in Belgium; the Nissan dealership websites project in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and Audi, Volvo, Hyundai and VW Commercial used vehicle locator migrations in the UK.

Simply outstanding
The success of our projects during 2016 is proof of the fantastic reception for our work, and we’ve received positive customer responses to our strategies throughout the year. We achieved special recognition from our business partner, Google, who awarded us the “Google Best Quality Award” in 2016, acknowledging the quality of Modix AdBox and our Google AdWords campaigns in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. We were immensely proud to attend the Google Premium SME Partner Conference in Dublin in order to collect the award, and the experience was a real honour for everyone at Modix.

A team like no other
Consistently delivering a quality service depends on a strong team of reliable specialists – and that’s exactly what we’ve got here at Modix. At the beginning of 2016, we had around 85 team members worldwide, and by December, that had grown to almost 200 strong. We work with employees from over 19 countries, all of whom work hard to develop smart solutions for our customers, working in close cooperation at every touchpoint. ¬Modix attended over 20 international events during 2016, which gave us the chance to make personal contact with customers, potential new clients, and business partners.

All change
There’s no doubt that 2016 was full of changes for Modix, but what changed for our customers? In principle, nothing. Our aim is to keep offering the best products and services, and in order to achieve this, we’re working to establish closer relationships, and develop solutions in even more collaborative ways.

As we move towards our goal, we’re looking to grow our company with new talent, modern office spaces, and inspiration from across the industry. By working hard to offer the best service on the market, Modix is set to remain the go-to partner for automotive digital marketing. Cox Automotive’s large portfolio of innovative brands allows us to connect our services across the entire vehicle market, offering our customers extensive, added-value solutions from one source.

Throughout the year, we will continue to enhance our existing products, while developing new solutions and tools that enable manufacturers and dealerships to attract new digital customers and increase profits.
