With 2017 just finished there is no better time to reflect on and learn from the previous year.

In a recent report published by the search engine giant Google, statistics including search queries, ads and device usage trends in the UK throughout the automotive industry have been compiled to ensure 2018 can provide you with the best results possible!

Showing just how consumers’ habits are changing, this in-depth report provides a useful insight to car dealers, showing the online trends of potential customers and providing a useful look into how they will be able to be most effective in 2018.

To save you reading the entire report but ensuring you get to know the best bits, our team of experts has pulled together the Top 10 facts and figures that automotive professionals need to know:

  1. Search growth overall in Q317 has increased by 1% compared to the same period last year
  2. 32% of searches came from mobile
  3. 62% of searches came from computers
  4. 43% of all clicks came from mobile devices
  5. Ad click through rate (CTR) grew 18% year-on-year (YoY) on all devices
