A Day in the Fast Lane:

Cox Automotive at CDX17

This year’s Car Dealer Expo (CDX17) took place on Tuesday, and Cox Automotive was there to share insight and innovation at the UK’s biggest automotive exhibition. The day was a great success, and we’d like to thank everyone who came to see us. It was the attendees who made the day what it was, and our business has come away energised and inspired thanks to all the brilliant conversations we had over the course of the day.

 We took to our stand in Hall 2 with a wealth of information and expertise to share. As the industry moves forward, our complete, connected offering continues to help businesses excel at every stage of the vehicle lifecycle, and CDX17 was a great opportunity to talk about our most recent developments, what we have to offer our clients, and how we’re leading the market forward with new products, services and technologies.

 The day also gave us the chance to showcase our newly launched brand, incadea, and its flagship product, incadea.dms, which offers a fully open-platform solution to help dealers streamline their business. In recent months, we’ve also launched Modix AdBox, a paid search tool that creates targeted Google ads, and Stock Insight, which uses data to help dealers better understand the market, and we had some great conversations about our innovations here. These two products draw on our unique ability to access data-driven expertise and insight from across the market, in order to offer solutions foregrounded by comprehensive knowledge.

 Julian Wheway, Product Director at Cox Automotive, led a workshop entitled ‘Maximising Part Exchange Values’, which featured valuable insight on how to unlock profit from part exchange vehicles. The session was the perfect way to apply some of our knowledge to real-world challenges, and Julian guided attendees through the opportunities presented by part-exchanges, and how to maximise the entire process. Karen Birch, of our Data Solutions division, delivered a breakout session later in the day, presenting Stock Insight in more detail, and discussing how our Data Solutions offering is set to add unprecedented value to the market.

 Overall, CDX17 was a great success, and we were privileged to share insights with so many valuable customers and industry figures. As the automotive industry advances, it’s essential now more than ever that we stay on top of trends and learn from each other in a constantly evolving market. CDX17 was a diverse day of communicating knowledge, hard work and innovations, as we came together to admire and evaluate the very best in our sector.
